Is Mario Kart Wii right for me?

Please don't just come in with ''yes its the best game ever'' posts. Please read what i have to say.I've never really liked super mario kart or Mario Kart 64. I never played the GC one. I've had a lot of fun with Mario Kart DS. I don't really want to spend much time plaing online. Most of the time I will play single player games. Will I enjoy Mario Kart Wii, or should I pass on it?Is Mario Kart Wii right for me?

No way. Its 1 Player offerings is the worst of any Mario Kart game. Online is by far the best thing of the game, offline isn't.Also DS version is a much better game overall.
I like its single player better than any previous Mario Kart, as I find that it's the most challenging. This is the first game where I actually have to try if I want to overlap someone. I remember in previous games I could overlap second on 50cc, and sometimes 8th on Mirror. In this version, I can rarely do it on 50cc.

You could not easily overlap people in MK64 because of the elastic/rubberband computers. Thing is this version also has this but not as much which explains why overlapping is hard.
The Mario Kart Wii is really meant for multiplayerso unless you like multiplayer, Mario Kart Wii is not much fun

[/QUOTE] I actually fin that it is extremely wasy if you are using automatic, and it's a bunch harder if you're usuing manual; and I powerslide every turn.
Well, If you enjoyed Mario Kart DS then I'd recommend this game to you.
Since you're not going to be online much and you prefer single player campaigns, then this isn't really for you. The single player campaign in this sucks.
