Virtual Console Center

Just wondering how many people here take full advantage of their Virtual Console. I expect a lot of older gamers to fully appreciate the games that are offered, but I am also wondering if any of you new guys like the features of the Virtual Console.Virtual Console Center
I have been somewhat disappointed with the slow releases of classic virtual console games. I have a ton of good VC games, don't get me wrong, but it will feel awkward if I have almost every game released for a console that I like...but not all. Like I will keep buying all of these games and amass a collection of every N64 game that I like...but then Majora's Mask will never be released for it or something, lol. Nintendo puts too much emphasis on Wiiware now, which is unfair because they count Wiiware games as VC releases, thus releasing a lesser number of VC games still.Virtual Console Center
I've been kinda low on funds right now, but on next pay day I will be buying - Gley Lancer, Super Fantasy Zone, Splatterhouse 2, and Star Parodier.I love the cla$$ic games that appear on the VC, and the Imports are awesome --- A lot of people complain that the games on the VC right now sucks, but I don't own a TurboGrafx so I love being able to d/l these great games. Besides I expect to see the VC to release some big games between Thanksgiving and the Winter Holidays
I don't even own a Wii... does anyone think that the virtual console is a motivating force for purchasing it?
Yes, I use the VC a lot. I currently have 32 games and there's still tons more on the service that I want. Storage is definately a major issue though.
I don't even own a Wii... does anyone think that the virtual console is a motivating force for purchasing it?
If you have the money and you enjoy classic games, sure. Plus it plays Wii Games and GC games.

Nintendo needs to find a solution for the expansion pak compatibility. I have Zelda's Collector Edition on GameCube and Majora's Mask which the game is in the compilation has a bad emulation. The game can freeze at anytime. You need to not activate the rumble feature and the game could work better but it's still bad. I have 25 VC games and I'll get more in the future. Wiiware is a new thing. NOA needs to put more wiiware game on the service.
I don't even own a Wii... does anyone think that the virtual console is a motivating force for purchasing it?
It was my 1st reason to buy it when it was announced. Now, it's a reason. I consider wii and Wiiware games to complete the package.
I think both WiiWare and the VC are good reasons for a Wii purchase, especially considering the E3 announcement of more developement on WiiWare! Now I am worried about storage, but I guess I can buy a 2gb card for some more storage...
I bought Castelvania 2 because I played Castlevania:Symphony of the night, and i thought it was gonna be good... Man was I WRONG. castlevania 2 sucks!
To be honest there are a ton of games I'd buy on the VC and Wiiware, even if I didn't want to purchase GC and Wii games. Most of the titles that I grew up with or missed out on during the NES, SNES and N64 era are on the VC. Right now I have Kid Icarus, Lost Winds, Super Mario Kart 64, Yoshi's Story, Star Fox 64 and Pac-Man for NES and am loving it. I like retro, some-casual, and hardcore games so I know I getting the most out of my Wii. I just wish there was an attachment so I could plug in my old SNES controller too my Wiimote and use that instead of the classic controller. It'd just feel like the good old days. :)

You must watch this video: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual%26VideoID=451888You should have bought Super Castlevania IV on the SNES. That game is awesome and more like Symphony of the Night. The original Castlevania is also much better than Simon's Quest.

i would but i dont feel like buying points all the time. maybe if i can put bills into the disc slot...
I use the VC quite a bit. I missed Paper Mario 64 because I was too busy with Ocarina of Time :P. I missed the SNES altogether (I went from NES to PS1) so it's great to be able to catch up with classic titles like Actraiser and Super Metroid.
I use it a bunch. It is a little bit of a hassle having to go buy point cards though.

I know the Nintendo Club members got a SNES contoller that plugs into the Wii Controller which are collectors items items. I just wish someone actually manuafactured them for regular consumers.
