I will tell that YES! Wii have been a success in oneway but still lacks of good sensors and graphics. I define the Wii as a successfull prototype console.
And some of the configurations that I am gonna tell maybe is now a standard for next-gen consoles:
1) Name: I think that Super-Wii may be good.
2) Blue Ray disc
3) Fully Wii and Gamecube compatible
4) A Nvidia GeForce 280 GTX based or another thing better (because at that time, that card will be cheap enough, and will give the shot, + it have physix)
5) Fully compatible with Wii accesories like the balance board (so it would be real wii compatible)
6) Integrated Wii MotionPlus or better sensor in its control
7) A good conversion plan, so Xbox 360 games could be ported to the Super Wii (that would rock)
8) More that one type of controlers (and all them inculded :) )
What about that. The wii really had potential but the lack of graphics put it in a second level of the 7gen consoles. And by that time Microsoft would come with a new console and PS3 will adapt his system for more things, you will see.
SO PLEASE NINTENDO, COME WITH A GOOD PLAN. AND START FROM NOW!!!!!!!!!
Be free to comment and say your ideas here.Should be a wii succesor for late 2010? ...
i really don't want to think about the future right now. im kind of glad with the one i have and want to focus on it only. (it pains me to think i have to buy another system with a high price tagg in the future.) Should be a wii succesor for late 2010? ...
well, actually, it could be same price. because the hardware is improving so fast and becoming cheaper at that time.
well first off the problem here is there will not be a new wii in 2010. The new Zelda will come out in 2010 though.
lol everything here is terrible1) super-wii... really?2) blue ray is still not being used to it's ''potential'', since PS3 games have to be installed, and all the games can be done on a normal DVD anyway (without installing)3) aye sure, why not?4) you know nothing about graphics cards so just shush, cards prices don't come down than much, plus the 280 GTX by then will be a relic of the past, just whatever they've finally brought out by then should be used, in a more cost conservitive way. and FYI physics are run off the CPU not the GPU since the GPU would have latency problems if it tryed to.5) if it's wii compatible it will run with a wii contorller for wii games, therefore all the accessories are compatible (since the balance board registers as another controller)6) hopefully they will have better than motion plus by 2012-2013 (since that's the actual realistic release window)7) would hope they wouldn't run off direct x, since it drags the hardware down a considerable amount plus next gen, if nintendo stays on top (which is very likely) most developers will probably be making for wii and porting to other consoles8) would rather they got 1 really great controller that has no need for others
super wii should have better on-line, I'm willing to pay, thats' all i really want.
I want a type of controller where it is a Gamecube controller but has ''x'' and ''y'' replaced with 1 and 2, and also a sensor where the wire is so you can still point. This way it will have enough buttons so all the next gen systems can go to the ''Super Wii''
