With the new addition to the moition plus can racing games be enhanced and made to be played more realisticly (with the addition to a wheel such as the mariokart one)?moition plus and racing games
bumpmoition plus and racing games
I don't think it would help much.
i really dont see the point in the motion plus and I hope they dont use it in too many games because then I would have to buy it:evil:

It might be awesome in your head but I just dont understand it I guess. I mean the wii can already detect 3d space because on the photo channel when you want to doodle, the closer you move the remote to the screen the bigger your pencil gets.

It will detect 1:1 movement which is awesome.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Gamecube controller is perfectly suited for racing games?
Don't get how it could enhance racing games

Use the WiiMote or Nunchuck + WiiMotionPlus as a clutch for manual transmission vehicles? It would also work really well with Motocross games, just like the Jet Ski on Wii Sports Resort.

With the photo channel the wii remote uses its IR camara to detect the IR lights within the sensor bar. That's how you get your pointer on the screen. When you move the wii remote backward, the camara in the wii remote ''sees'' those sensor bar lights get smaller and vice versa. From that information it can tell how far away the wii remote is from the screen. The Wii motionplus deals with the motion controls, not the IR (pointer) controls. The device allows the wii to sense the wii remote and know exactly where it is in 3d space, therefore giving 1:1 motion controls. As far as the topic goes, I think MK wii (I don't know about the others) pretty much had as precise steering controls as you need with a racing game. I don't think the M+ would add much to a racing game, and I think it could be used to better use in other types of games.
