opinions and tolerance or lack of.

So for my 2000th post i thought maby i would try to touch on something that kinda bothers me a bit. One thing i have noticed, well for a long time but have noted has been devlopeing worse on the Wii forum of late is a lack of tolernce for other peoples opinion. i think every one has been giulty of this from time to time my self included. The forums from my understanding is a place for people who share the same interest to come togather and discusse those things. But that does not mean that those people must share the same opinion on said topic or that those that the threads need be nothing but praise. Far to often i have seen people make a thread to critasize or complain about somthing just to be flamed by a fanboy who eather truly disagrees with them or just cant handle something negative being said about his or her choice of system. In this case the nintendo Wii. Now if you truly disagree thats fine but dont try to force out there opinion with yours by flaming ect.Now im not saing that i aprove of or support trolling. but there is a line between trolling and a complaint, opinion, view point, or critasizim. But to some people that line does not exsist. Any view point or opinion that goes aginst some others opinion or the company line MUST be a troll. Thats the danger of fanboyism. IMHO a fanboy is a trolls better looking sister lol :). there both a negative in any topic.Just something to keep in mind. Just becasue some one has a deffernt opinion or view point does not make them wrong. It does not make your opinion automaticly the right one.O and 2000 post YEA BABY 2000 who da man who da man. 2001 here i come.:p opinions and tolerance or lack of.
Good post. Congratulations on number two thousand.opinions and tolerance or lack of.

Wow, a post that makes sense on the Wii forum. I'm impressed.Simply put, people do not like to be wrong. The Wii has gone through a lot of hard times when it comes to the ''hardcore gamer audience'' and many people on the Wii forums have implemented the ''complaint/criticism=trolling'' rule. This happens with other systems, although not as much.Ex. The RROD for the 360I don't expect anything to change from this topic, but I am glad to see that someone else is thinking outside the box here.
