http://gonintendo.com/?p=53299 A portion of a TVG interview with Silicon Knight's Dennis Dyack himself%26hellip; TVG: And how is production going on Eternal Darkness 2? DD: Can't say. TVG: Can't say 'Eternal Darkness 2%26prime; or how the production on Eternal Darkness 2 is going? DD: Can't say either! Sorry, no comment.---I find it really strange that he won't even mention the possibility of the project. In the past, Dennis Dyack's been open about talking whether the game might happen or not, but for some reason he's tight-lipped here.Possible evidence that Eternal Darkness ...
:D:D:D I hope so.Possible evidence that Eternal Darkness ...
oh...i like what he did there...he asked the question like he KNEW it was already being made and backed him into a corner and the best DD had was ''can't say'' very nice
why would silicon knights make Eternal Darkness 2 after how badly part 1 sold.
why would silicon knights make Eternal Darkness 2 after how badly part 1 sold.
It was a third party game on a Nintendo console. Of course it had crap advertisement ;)

If Nintendo really wants to advertise the sequel, they could put Pious Augustus in the next Smash Bros game ;)

Their final smash could involve the sanity meter :shock:I believe it was a second-party game, but it was still advertised horribly. Seeing how secretive he was about it then Eternal Darkness 2 must be in development!I hope... :P
Hearing this being confirmed will make my day.
I just wish that the rumor about Eternal Darkness(or whatever Silicon Knights' psychological thriller game is) going multiplat isnt true
The part 1 was awesome! The problem really was advertisement... I'm really hoping for a sequel.
This would be a game that would get the hardcore gamers excited. The original was one of the most innovative games on the Gamecube, just imagine what could be accomplished with the Wii.

That would be amazing, but it seems like it would be hard to come up with a story as interesting as the first. In any case, if they are making a new one, I hope they improve the combat, definitely a weak point the first go round.
that will be friggin AWSOME
idk, but i found ED 1 a little boring. Idk whether its the theme of the game or whatever but to me the game felt like it was all over the place. Maybe its because of the fact that everywhere i go, i hear people touting about how scary it was, treating it like a horror game. So i got the game expecting a spookfest and got disappointed beond belief (although, that lady in the bathtub was freaky, as was losing your body in a split second lol). While I did like the effects of having little to no sanity, the sanity bar felt like it took away from the game, and the slow pace didn't help much either. Maybe i should replay it with a different mindset, but i was really disappointed from expected a horrorfest (as everyone was touting it as) and got diddly squat.
