Ac adapter problem

I moved from the USA to asia and I plugged my wii into the socket. The adapter exploded. Is the wii messed up or is it just the adapter?Ac adapter problem
Ok well the same thing happened to my uncle with his laptop. He came from here to japan which has the same power format, and his harddrive blew while his comp was charging in the wall. So it might be dead because my uncles adapter for his laptop didn't blow but his comp did. For u it might be both one or the other. lets hope its the other. If u want to make sure and not waste ur cash on another 250.00 buy another adapter which is cheaper to make sure. It may prove useful. If it doesn't work its dead.Ac adapter problem
Has this happened to anyone else? THe adapter is easy to replace. I just want to make sure my wii isn't dead.
Well if u want to make sure ur wii is working by an adapter to test it.
You have to buy an ASIAN wii. The USA wii can only support 110volt not 220. If that doesnt work you need to contact Nintendo.
