Ok, I got my Wii online through a USB Lan Adapter (Wired connection). I have a 256k/64k broadband internet connection, which should be enough to play online. The firmware update I did downloaded pretty quickly within 20 minutes, so I think my internet connection is fine. However, when playing Super Smash Brothers Online, it was a lag fest. I literally could not even move. I sat there about 3 minutes, and only 3 seconds went off the game clock. Thats how bad it was. I was playing against randoms however, so they could of been in China or anywhere which could make the connection worse. So now I am quite worried, will other games lag this bad for me or is it just Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I want to try Mario Kart Wii and see if that works better. Could anybody please help me and give their opinion? Thanks!(By the way, I have played games such as Halo 3, Gears of War, Resistance Fall of Man all of which were lag free) Got my Wii Online, need help!
ssbb has always been a lag fest ever since it first came out =(... but mario karts online is alot better and almost no lag at all =)Got my Wii Online, need help!
OK cool thanks for the help, I am going to try Mario Kart tomorrow from the video store. So is my 256k/64k broadband internet connection enough for me to play online? Also, since I live in Australia, when playing Mario Kart how can I make sure I verse Australians?
-yes it would be enough-set your region, then choose ''regional'' before entering a race, it should be obvious when you get the gamehope that helped!
Can you do the same region thingy for SSBB?
I don't know, never got it :(
Ok thanks mate. Are you sure my internet connection is good enough, I am really worried about it now. I want to play online so bad :)
If you are so worried about it then get an upgrade.
Can you do the same region thingy for SSBB?
Yeah, you can play gainst people in the same region.
But is there an actual option to set so you can only play people in your region?
