Yeah it's worth a buy. Controls work nice, songs are okay and the online... works... sometimes. I don't regret buying it, 'cept buying it on the Wii. I want the DLC.
I'd just wait for GH4, get the new guitar that comes with that, and buy just the GH3 game afterwards

October 26 = right around the corner

I think a good 2 month wait for Guitar Hero 4 is in order and getting the Guitar Hero 3 game can come afterwards

Yes, but i'd wait for GH:WT.
I'd probably wait for GH:WT. That way you can get the better guitar (and drums if you want) and then you can buy just the game for GH3 and Aerosmith.
