Brawl!! How Could I Forget That!!
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn- This game, oh yes this game... it's one of the most challenging games on this list. Making one small mistake could be deadly. This game is so hardcore, Nintendo had to add a ''battle Save'' in the middle of a battle 'cause they knew you would aciddently make a mistake and not want to start the whole battle over again, aww, good old Nintendo.
With the exception of Fire Emblem 8, it is also the easiest game in the series that FE fans should be able to finish in their sleep. What about Brawl? I've also always liked Lightgun games like House of the Dead and Ghost Squad. I didn't get far, is Super Paper Mario harder later on? Trauma Center could get pretty crazy on hard difficulties.
I'll provide one facepalm per statement that needs it.
Resident Evil 4- This is crazy sh**! You spend the whole game blowing the brain's out of angered mexcian ''zombies''
This is just wrong :?
this casual hardcore crap is starting to bug me cant we just play games I mean god its not a bragging right being able to say your a harcore gamer
Super Mario Galaxy- This one is slightly casual but a whole lot more hardcore. I'll explain; the first 60 stars will take you about 10 hours to get and you would probably never die. But, right after you beat Bowser it gets alot more challenging.Metriod Prime Corruption- This game is obviously hardcore. You play as a badass bounty hunter that enjoys destroying planets! How much more hardcore can that get!Zelda: Twilight Princess- ARRRGGG! That's what you would be saying throughout 80% of the game because of the puzzle solving. Caution: you will need to use your computer multiplee times while playing this game...Resident Evil 4- This is crazy sh**! You spend the whole game blowing the brain's out of angered mexcian ''zombies'' *If you can caall them that* Any casual gamer would shake reading the great hardcore title that is Resident Evil 4! Oh and by the way, it's rated M for Mature, Otherwise Known as Hardcore!Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2- I heard it is a gun game... in a long running franchise of gun games... OBVIOUSLY! What kind of hardcore gamer hasn't tried the Medal Of Honor games. Oh, did I mention it actually is great online.Battalion Wars 2- This game ain't hardcore unless you play online. If you don't have online I wouldn't recomend it because the AI just ain't that great. But man, those gamers online deffinatly are!Zack %26 Wiki Quest for Barbaros' Treasure- Seaching for Barbaros' Treasure is extremely hardcore, nuff said.;)Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn- This game, oh yes this game... it's one of the most challenging games on this list. Making one small mistake could be deadly. This game is so hardcore, Nintendo had to add a ''battle Save'' in the middle of a battle 'cause they knew you would aciddently make a mistake and not want to start the whole battle over again, aww, good old Nintendo. Tomb Raider Anniversary (Wii Edition)- If tight, tight, I MEAN TIGHT jeans, unforgiving platforming and many games oldschool games in 1 aren't your cup of tea, then look elsewhere. No More Heroes- A random guy gets a light saber and wants to become the number 1 assasin, this hardcore? Nah... what's so hardcore about that?8) Manhunt 2- This is so hardcore I wouldn't even tell my wife I know about this game :PWarioWare: Smooth Moves- HEY! It is so haardcore! Just look at those challenging mini games!!! __> :| Ok, Ok, it's not THAT hardcore but I've lost countless nights (4 to be exact) playing this game. And if that doesn't convince you enough, hardcore gamers can use it as a pick up line; Just think of you at a restraunt.. Your buddy: ''Dude I heard you got Smooth Moves!'' You (loud): ''Yeah I got Smooth Moves!'' Girl from table beside you: ''Hey i heard you got Smooth Moves, I stop by tonight and you can show me' You: ''Ok baby8)''You see? But be warned, you might hear he say ''no I mean... the game'' once you start dancing... Sonic %26 The Secret Rings- This Sonic game may be on rails but that's what makes it so hardcore! Only hardcore gamers have good reflects!Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles- An on rails shooter, casuals say ''meh'' you say ''awesome''
I'll agree with you about Zack and Wiki, the rest except maybe 1 or 2 more don't really fit my description.
Also about the RE4 comment, gore doesn't equal hardcore, and they are not mexican or zombies.
There's no such thing as hardcore games, there's hardcore players. So yeah, not so much all of that Less of all of that and more of not all of that
There's no such thing as hardcore games, there's hardcore players. So yeah, not so much all of that Less of all of that and more of not all of that
Yeah, I like you're definition for hardcore better.
Not enough Brawl
Zelda...why do you have to use your computer ''multiple'' times while playing?Resident Evil 4...they're Spanish villagers, not ''Mexicans''. So you're saying that a ''M'' rating automatically makes a game ''hardcore''? Can't a good game just be enjoyed instead of categorized?
This thread is part of the problem.
There's no such thing as hardcore games, there's hardcore players. So yeah, not so much all of that Less of all of that and more of not all of that
Agreed. Even Wii Sports becomes ''hardcore'' once you get to somewhere around 1500 points. Good accesible games tend to be extremely challenging once you get to a certain point, like Pac Man, Tetris or Wii Sports. That's what sets them apart from those bad games that developers that don't know best release to try to jump on the whole Wii Sports trend.
There's no such thing as hardcore games, there's hardcore players. So yeah, not so much all of that Less of all of that and more of not all of that
True. A game is as ''Hardcore'' as the gamer makes it out to be. Example: Super Mario Galaxy. Play a few hours a week, eventually get 60 stars, beat the game, it collects dust = Casual playerPlay as much as you can, do speed runs, strive for all 240 or so stars = Hardcore. Most games have this capability to adapt to all players. The ones that don't are part of the problem, the problem that Nintendo is working to solve. Shut up and let them solve it.There are no hardcore games, only hardcore gamers, and if you catch yourself complaining about a game not being hardcore, you are not a hardcore gamer. Hopefully, a day will come when that won't matter because the industry will have grown out of using such juvenile terms to classify different sects of, what should be, a unified community.

No person thinksof hardcore the exact same way, but by my standards, my ''hardcore'' games for the wii are SMG, MP3, Zelda TP, Brawl, snd MoH H2. According to your standards, it makes me wonder how Boom Blox isn't there.
