Why don't Wii games get price drops?

I just recently got a Wii about 3 weeks ago, and I was hoping to get some of the older games for a cheaper price only to find out that games like Super Mario Galaxy, Twighlight Princess, Metroid 3, etc. are still $50. I know they're still selling but there are PS3 games still selling that are available now for only $30. Why don't Wii games get price drops?
nintendo is cheapWhy don't Wii games get price drops?
Wii games do get price drops. Just not the ones you want. 3rd party games drop in price over time.

It's mostly only 3rd Party games that get price drops. Nintendo is getting too powerful.
Because they keep selling without them.

Sadly, have to agree. However, you can try to go to Gamestop's and find good, used prices. While some are only slightly less cheap, some are different now. No More Heroes was 50, should be around 30 now. Resident Evil 4 for Wii I got was only 25-26.
No More Heroes is now $30
buy used games or buy games online
Same games drop quickly in price, others don't. It depends on how the game sells. Dewy's Adventure and Blast Works both fell down to $20 quickly (which is a shame as they're both solid titles), while The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been a full $50 since the Wii's launch.
Yeah. there are some games that I'd expect to get price drops by now. Like that Wario Ware game and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles (what was Capcom even thinking charginf $50 for that).
1st party stays at 50 3rd party drops in about a 1-4 months. that's the beauty of the wii I guess. Although some games on other consoles can be bought used for 10 dollars (and they are high quality games).
It doesn't need price drops. Demand is still high, it is still constantly sold out. There's no reason for them to drop the prices.
It? Sounds like you're referring to the wii. Just to clarify things for you, if you were indeed referring to the wii, the TC was talking about 1st party games on the wii.
Why would a game ever drop in price? It still offers the same. If it is becoming less succesful i understand.
