Personally, I think the current address book is next to useless. You can't see when your friends are online, you can't jump into their multiplayer games, and you can't see what they're playing. I think a few minor improvements could drastically improve playing online on the wii.Your thoughts?

While I don't find it ''next to useless'', I do feel that it could and should be improved. Like you said if it allowed for you to see what the people in you address book were doing, if they were online, what game they were playing etc...to be honest more like Xbox live's lists, then it would improve their idea of the online service. In fact EA nation for the Wii is kind of like that. I almost feel that Ninetendo should just let EA develop their service. Because they seem to have the right idea.
Of course it would improve the online experience. That's a given. But don't expect Nintendo to change it.

Edit: Hell, not having an Ethernet port on the Wii is a stupid idea, they have the option to make a wired connections but force you to buy a third party adaptor for 30 dollars...Like I had too
