I can't find the link, but Iwata once said that Nintendo didn't plan on making a sequel to Wii Sports. Did he change his mind, or was not telling the truth to create surprise? I don't mind that Wii Sports: Resort is coming out, I'm just wondering, why the change of heart?Small Question...
I never heard about the interview but since Wii Sports is a success because it's bundle to the console everywhere except in Japan. I would say a sequel was going to be made. Small Question...
Nintendo did say they wouldn't make Wii Sports 2 because they felt at the time there was enough ''introductory software'' on the Wii.I don't know if Sports Resort is deeper then Wii Sports or because it comes with a pack in they're making it like a Wii Play sort of thing. You're right though, they did say Wii Sports wouldn't have a sequel, no idea if they don't consider Wii Sports Resort a sequel

After reading it again it makes senseThat was said a year ago and when they said it they didn't have anything new to add to the Wii Sports franchise to make it stand out from the previous one. With the Wiimotion Plus you have that new avenue to take when you think of how it's applied to the franchise.

[/QUOTE] I agree. There is much more potential now then there was a year ago for what can be done.
